Birken Gateløp

Birken Gateløp, also called the Birken Street Run, is a new street race in central Lillehammer. It starts and finishes in the city center, with 10 km and 5 km options for adults and a 300/400 m BarneBirken race for children. Both main races start from Sigrid Undsets plass and use parts of Storgata, city center streets, residential areas, and sections past the city church and sports ground. Most of the route is on asphalt, with some hard-packed gravel, and the courses follow older race routes used in Lillehammer. Drink stations are placed along the way, and every finisher receives a medal and a time diploma.
