The PKO Bydgoszcz Running Festival takes place in Myślęcinek, Bydgoszcz’s expansive park and Poland's largest city park. This weekend event features a 5k, a 10k night race, a half marathon, and children's races, accommodating debutants, families, and runners seeking longer distances.
The adult races utilize a 5-kilometer loop, largely paved, flat, and fast, with approximately 90% of the course on asphalt park roads. The 5k is designed for amateurs and first-time participants. The festival also recognizes runners completing the 5k, 10k, and half marathon with a distinct "most versatile runner" award based on cumulative time. Children compete in shorter distances of roughly 300, 600, or 900 meters, contributing to a broader community atmosphere compared to a single-distance road race.
