The 16th Marathon of the BTT Section "Os Duraizos" – Between the River and the Sea is a mountain bike event held on October 18, 2026, in Longueira/Almograve, Odemira, Beja. It offers two routes: a 40 km route suitable for medium to easy levels and a 70 km route of medium difficulty. The event is open to participants of all genders, with a minimum age of 16 for the 40 km route and 19 for the 70 km route, requiring prior registration. It caters to various fitness levels and adventurous participants, providing solid and liquid refreshments along the courses. The start and finish points are located in Longueira, adjacent to the Moinho da Longueira, which also serves as the base for all event logistics and the secretariat. The event encourages cycling as an ecological mode of transport and promotes physical activity on rural paths, trails, and municipal roads.
