Iron Loop 3070 2026

The Iron Loop 3070 takes place on a 3.4 km circuit, clearly marked with ribbons and signs. The start and finish area is located next to the river beach of Praia de Mira. Each lap is 3.4 km, and teams must complete 8 laps, one per hour, for a total distance of approximately 80 km. Within each lap, teams can freely determine their strategy. One athlete can complete all three laps, two athletes can alternate, or each of the three team members can complete one lap. Exchanges can only occur in the Transition Zone, and a baton must be passed. Once an athlete begins a lap, they must complete it, and no mid-lap substitutions are allowed.
