Triatlo Longo de Moura 2027

The V Triathlon of Moura will be held on April 25, 2027, linking the Alqueva Dam area to the city of Moura. The event features the T100 National Individual Championship, the T100 National Paratriathlon Individual Championship, and an Open Race. The Open Race is available in individual or relay formats. The T100 races comprise a 2 km swim, an 80 km cycle, and an 18 km run. The Open Race offers a shorter distance: a 1 km swim, a 40 km cycle, and a 9 km run. The Open Race can also be completed by teams of two or three participants. The event begins at Praia do Lago, near the Alqueva Dam. The swim course is an out-and-back route on calm water, with no current. The cycling segment is primarily on asphalt and is mostly flat, with no drafting allowed, but includes one steep climb. The run course winds through the streets of Moura, mainly on asphalt, with a brief section on cobblestones. Aid stations will be available along the courses. The event also provides a recovery area, a cloakroom, showers, and personal accident insurance. All finishers will receive a medal and a t-shirt. Transportation between transition areas is available upon advance booking.
