Trilho dos Linces by GoldEnergy

Trilho dos Linces by GoldEnergy is a trail-running event held in November in Vila Real, Portugal, with races taking place in the Serra do Alvão. The event offers four competitive distances and one walk: a 50 km ultra, a 35 km trail race, a 21 km sprint trail, a 12 km mini trail, and a 12 km recreational walk. Runners aged 16 and older may enter the shorter races, while participants in the longer races must be at least 18. The walk is open to all ages. The routes follow marked mountain paths, rural tracks, agricultural land, and some public roads, passing through villages in the Alvão region. The most challenging courses feature elevation gains up to 2,800 metres. The 50 km, 35 km, and 21 km races contribute to ATRP national circuits and UTMB and ITRA indexes. The 35 km and 21 km races also qualify for Vila Real regional championships. Equipa Linces do Marão organizes the event, with a portion of each registration fee dedicated to reforestation efforts in wildfire-affected areas.
