Mushroom Cap Half Marathon and FUNGI 5 Miler Event 2026

The Mushroom Cap Half Marathon and FunGi Five Miler are presented by Chatham Financial. The races take place in Kennett Square and feature a challenging course with hills, quiet neighborhoods, scenic country roads, and historic landmarks including barns and Revolutionary War sites. Participants will also pass mushroom farms. Hydration stations are community-supported. The Half Marathon is on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 8:00 AM, starting at Birch and Church Alley, with a 3.5-hour time limit. The FunGi 5 Miler is also on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 8:00 AM, starting at Birch and Church Alley, with a 3.5-hour time limit. The 5 Miler course includes historic homes, landmarks, and streets lined with old live oak trees, passing mushroom farms in the "Mushroom Capital of the World." The finish leads into a celebration festival. Amenities include a finisher medal, swag, and free beer.
