About this race
The Boo Bash Triathlon begins at the Portland Aquatic Center in Portland, Texas, with the swim taking place at 2002 Billy G Webb Drive. This late-October event offers three race formats: a Sprint Triathlon, a shorter Newbie Triathlon, and a Sprint Relay for teams.
The Newbie race includes a 200-yard swim, a 6-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run. The Sprint race features a 400-yard swim, a 12-mile bike ride, and a 5K run. Relay teams complete the Sprint distances with two or three members and can be all male, all female, or coed. Individual races are open to athletes aged 15 and up. Relay participation starts at age 12. The event accommodates participants from first-timers and weekend racers to more competitive athletes.
