The Cranberry Crawl is a 5K and 10K race held at East Potomac Park Golf Course on Ohio Drive SW in Washington, DC. Packet pickup begins the morning before the races. The 5K run and race walk start first, with the 10K following soon after. Each distance anticipates around 100 participants, giving it the feel of a local club event rather than a large city race.
The course is flat, utilizing paved roads and one or two out-and-back segments depending on the distance. The event accommodates walkers and wheelchair athletes, and racewalkers compete for separate awards. The top three finishers in each race receive awards within 10-year age groups for men and women. Cranberry bread is part of the prize offerings. Warm refreshments are available post-race, and ample free parking is provided on-site.
