Asbury Park Santa Run 2026

The Asbury Park Santa Run brings thousands of participants in Santa suits to Asbury Park, New Jersey, for a December 5K. Runners can compete, or walkers can enjoy a more relaxed pace. Registration provides the suit, chip timing, a closed course, and a contribution to Lunch Break, a local nonprofit. The course is a single loop through Asbury Park, with streets along the oceanfront lined by a crowd in red. After the finish, the event leads into four after-parties for those 21 and older. These parties take place at some of the city’s most recognized music venues, contributing to the event's atmosphere as a Jersey Shore holiday tradition as much as a timed race. This marks its 11th year, it typically sells out before the event, and organizers emphasize its distinction from SantaCon.
