Chord Energy Houston Corporate 5K

The Chord Energy Houston Corporate 5K is an after-work run/walk held at Memorial Park in Houston, starting at Eastern Glades. It is designed for company teams, co-workers, and friends, and is known as Houston's Largest Office Party. The event welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers, accommodating both experienced racers and those participating in a team outing or pursuing a casual fitness objective. The course is a flat, fast 5K, consisting of a single loop around the Seymour Lieberman Trail. Over its first ten years, more than 52,000 individuals have completed the race, with over 240 company teams participating. The post-race activities align with the office party theme, featuring an outdoor happy hour, food, and live entertainment. The Memorial Park Conservancy serves as the charitable partner, receiving a portion of the registration and sponsorship funds to support its park conservation efforts.
