Cycling, the Series 2026

The Driveway Series is a weekly summer criterium in Austin, Texas, held on a smooth closed racetrack approximately 5 miles from downtown. Racers complete multiple fast laps, resulting in close, tactical racing rather than a long, point-to-point event. Beginners, club riders, and elite racers participate, with fields divided by skill category to ensure appropriate competition levels. This setup provides a venue for developing pack-handling skills, assessing fitness, and racing intensely in a setting that is easy for spectators to view. The series calls itself “America’s Largest Weekly Bike Race” and embraces its Thursday tagline, “Your Weekend Starts on Thursday.”
