Dirty Fox Five Hour Trail Race 2026

The Dirty Fox Five Hour Trail Race is a five-hour lap challenge held in Franke Park, offering distinct categories for runners, mountain bike riders, and wheelchair athletes. All participants compete against the same five-hour time limit, aiming to complete as many full laps as possible. Partial laps are not counted towards the final tally. The course varies by discipline. Runners navigate a three-mile loop situated on the park's east side. Mountain bikers follow a five-mile loop on the west side, while wheelchair athletes utilize a two-mile route that includes both pavement and gravel sections. Lap progress is recorded on a whiteboard and a shared timing mat, with the individual completing the most full laps declared the winner. Aid stations are not provided on the course; participants should establish a base camp near the HUB at the base of Derby Hill, where food and beverages can be accessed.
