Eve Carson Memorial 5K for Education 2026

The Eve Carson Memorial 5K for Education is a fall 5K held in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Runners start early on the UNC campus in front of Bynum Hall. The race honors Eve Carson, a former UNC student body president, and serves as a campus-community run and a fundraiser for education. Past races have taken place in various weather conditions. Proceeds benefit the Eve Marie Carson Memorial Junior-Year Merit Scholarship, The Literacy Fund, and CEO 4 Teens. The scholarship is designed for students facing work and life circumstances that might hinder their access to traditional merit scholarships, particularly those who worked during high school to fund their college education.
