Florida State Time Trial Championships 2026

The Florida State Time Trial Championships feature cycling events in Pasco County. The 5K and 10K time trials are set for December, alongside 20K and 40K road races. The time-trial portion accommodates standard upright bikes, as well as recumbent and enclosed recumbent divisions for both 5K and 10K distances. Participants register under Florida Senior Games rules; no prior qualifying result is required. Each rider begins individually at set intervals, typically one minute apart, but no less than thirty seconds, making it a direct test against the clock. Cyclists must provide their own bike and helmet, and officials verify each bike before the event. The standard time trials proceed from youngest to oldest participants, with men racing before women. Enclosed recumbents start before the standard fields, followed by recumbents. Recumbent bikes and trikes are prohibited in the road races, and mechanical issues do not result in time adjustments.
