Glory Days 5K Community Run at The Portage Invitational

The Glory Days 5K Community Run is part of The Portage Invitational in Portage, Michigan. The race begins near Portage West Middle School on Moorsbridge Road, following a 5K cross-country route. Packet pickup is located behind the middle school before the morning start. This event welcomes participants beyond student athletes, allowing spectators, coaches, former runners, and local residents to compete on the same course used during the invitational. The opportunity to run a course historically used by thousands of middle school and high school cross-country athletes, including some of the nation's fastest young competitors, is a key attraction. Runners who pre-register will receive a short-sleeve Portage Invite race shirt. Entries made on race day are priced higher, and shirt availability is limited to remaining sizes. Medals are awarded to the top 50 finishers, adding a competitive element to the community run without excluding casual participants.
