Leavenworth Marathon & Half Marathon 2026

The Leavenworth Marathon & Half Marathon is an October road-and-trail race in Leavenworth, Washington. The marathon begins near the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area, and both races conclude at Enchantment Park. The full marathon course, which runners have six hours to complete, combines paved roads, paths, dirt roads, and trails. The half marathon starts at Enchantment Park, accommodates walkers, and has a four-hour time limit. The marathon starts with 9 miles through Icicle Canyon. It then heads onto East Leavenworth Road, using a fully closed lane, before crossing the Wenatchee River Bridge into Leavenworth’s Bavarian-style village. The route continues through wooded riverfront parks, reaches the Icicle River trails, and returns for a second loop on East Leavenworth Road and the riverside trails before the finish. Half marathoners go through the village center in their first mile, turn onto 9th Street into Riverfront Park, and then join the marathon route. Participants might see salmon spawning in the rivers, a unique detail for a town race.
