Miles for Mutts 5k Run/Walk

Miles for Mutts is an annual U.S. 5K run and 1-mile walk focused on dog rescue fundraising. Participants can choose between the full 5K or the shorter 1-mile walk, with all proceeds supporting dogs needing care. The funds raised cover medical and surgery expenses, veterinary visits, consultations, and other care costs for dogs that may arrive in poor condition. The event attracts runners, walkers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, rescue advocates, and dog enthusiasts. One past edition saw 484 participants from 10 states, ranging in age from 1 to 88, with over 45 adoptable dogs present and more than $40,000 collected.
