About this race
The Napa Half Marathon begins at Skyline Park in east Napa, with runners starting at 7:30am for a 13.1-mile road race in the hills surrounding California wine country. It is part of Napa County’s running schedule, which includes longer and shorter race options, and the Napa Valley Marathon tradition has taken place in March since the late 1970s.
The half marathon course consists of two loops through rolling terrain and neighborhoods bordered by vineyards, with local residents cheering and deer frequently seen along the route. Athletic Feat organizes the race, SVE Timing provides chip timing, participants must be at least 12 years old, and finishers are awarded a custom medal and a bottle of Napa Valley wine; the associated quarter marathon covers one loop, approximately 6.55 miles, and also finishes at Skyline Park.
