The Great American River Run

The Great American River Run begins and ends at AutoZone Park in Downtown Memphis. Runners can select a 5K, 10K, or half marathon during Memorial Day weekend. Memphis in May International Festival organizes the event, integrating it into a larger city weekend instead of a standalone race. The start and finish area accommodates various participants, from short-distance runners to those targeting a faster 10K or a half marathon. The courses follow city streets and the Mississippi Riverfront, providing a distinct Memphis route rather than a standard out-and-back. Support along the course includes visible markers, water stations, and spectators.
