The Santa Claus For A Cause 5K/10K is a holiday running event held at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, California. The event features a 5K run, a 10K run, and children's dashes. The event incorporates Christmas themes alongside the running, offering participants a choice of a full Santa suit, a Santa beanie, or a custom race shirt. Finishers are awarded medals that can be hung as Christmas ornaments. The race course follows the beach, incorporating artificial snow, festive music, and live carolers, such as the Lil Dickens Carolers. Children can participate in the Ho Ho Ho Dashes, which cover distances of 200 meters, 400 meters, a half mile, or a mile.
