Snow Globe Run 2026

The Snow Globe Run begins behind The Peanut Farm restaurant and follows Campbell Creek Trail for a 4K out-and-back course in winter conditions. Runners and walkers begin first, with a separate 4K snowshoe race starting shortly after. The course remains on the trail throughout, featuring level terrain with minimal inclines; snow accumulation may make strollers impractical. Anchorage Running Club collaborates with the Alaska Zoo for this event, donating a portion of the proceeds to the zoo. Prior to the race, participants can join a Zoo Critters costume contest, awarding prizes for the top male, female, and group costumes. All participants receive a medal, the top three male and female finishers get awards from The Peanut Farm, and race bib tear-offs provide daytime admission to the Alaska Zoo.
