2026 Teanaway Country 100M

SAT, September 19, 2026 · Cle Elum , United States

About this race

Teanaway Country is a September ultrarunning series near Cle Elum in eastern Washington, located in the Cascade Mountain Range. The main event is a 100-mile out-and-back course featuring 31,000 feet of climbing and an equal amount of descent, with a 40-plus-hour cutoff. The shorter races remain challenging mountain events: a point-to-point 50-miler with 16,000 feet of elevation gain and 15,000 feet of loss, and the Teeny-Way 50K, a lollipop route covering 11,000 feet of gain and loss. Required gear is mandatory for all distances. The area feels remote despite its proximity to civilization. The regular trails are anticipated to be accessible following Forest Service repair work after a previous fire. The 100-mile race includes 12 aid stations, permits pacers from mile 46.3, and offers a finisher buckle. The 50-mile race has 6 aid stations, and the 50K has 3. Local ultrarunner Brian Morrison established the race to highlight the Teanaway mountains and their surrounding community. Direction was later transferred to organizers who aim to maintain the grassroots atmosphere, clear course marking, dedicated volunteers, and well-supplied aid stations.
