The Fools' Ultra: Revenge of Champy 2026

The Fools' Ultra: Revenge of Champy is a May trail race at Camp Manatoc in Peninsula, Ohio, offering distances from 10K up to an 8-hour run. The long format utilizes a 5K loop, allowing runners to pass aid stations repeatedly while assessing their legs, stomach, gear, and pacing over sustained mileage. The loop is smooth for a trail course, featuring no technical terrain and approximately 167 feet of elevation gain per circuit. This race suits first-time trail runners, hikers, and those training for longer ultras. A well-stocked aid station and individual 10-by-10 personal setup areas are provided. It is part of the Ohio Endurance Series; completing four events may qualify participants for Athlete of the Year consideration, including a trading card with their photo and series statistics.
