The River Run 2026

The River Run is a Saturday-morning Riverfest race day. It begins with a timed 10K hosted by Marriott International, followed shortly by timed 5K and wheelchair 5K races. That same morning also features an untimed 1-mile Family Fun Run/Walk and a Tot Trot for children ages 2 to 7. The event accommodates serious runners, families, walkers, and very young children. The course details are not fully specified, but the route is reserved for foot traffic or racing wheelchairs; bikes, dogs, and motorized or electric vehicles are prohibited. The Family Fun Run/Walk encourages costumes and colorful attire. Spectators may watch without charge until late morning. All participants receive a River Run T-shirt, a medallion, and a Riverfest button valid for all nine festival days.
