About this race
Topo Trail Marathon Races are trail runs at East Fork State Park near Bethel, Ohio, offering Quarter, Half, and Full marathon options on the same 6.55-mile loop. The race utilizes the park’s mountain bike trails, with the loop consisting entirely of singletrack, ensuring even the shorter distance provides a genuine trail run experience, not a road race with a dirt segment.
The format is straightforward: one lap for the Quarter, two for the Half, and four for the Full marathon. Aid stations are located around mile 2, mile 4.5, and the loop's end, offering water and Hammer product on course. The start-finish aid station also provides bananas and salty snacks. Entry includes professional chip timing, but runners must register in advance as race-day registration is unavailable. Packet pickup and a pre-race meeting occur on race morning at the park.
