Turkey Trot 5K - Springfield 2026

Springfield’s Turkey Trot 5K begins at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning at the Springfield Expo Center in downtown Springfield. This timed 5K run/walk is Missouri’s largest Thanksgiving Day 5K, with over 7,000 participants annually. The route remains in downtown Springfield, attracting runners, walkers, families, and dogs. The event benefits the Springfield-Greene County Park Board Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund and the Developmental Center of the Ozarks. It also serves as a significant one-day food drive for Ozarks Food Harvest, having collected over 6,500 meals at the last race.
