THANKSGIVING DAY MILE 2026

Thanksgiving Day Mile, George Lippert Park, Weber Street West, Kitchener, ON, Canada - October 12, 2026, 9:00 a.m. This event takes place before the K-W Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade. The course is traffic-free, running along Weber Street with many spectators. It is a chip-timed, net downhill, point-to-point mile course. Festive runners are welcome. Photos, medals, and refreshments are provided. The race is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and the course is certified by Athletics Canada. The One Mile Race begins near the intersection of Wilhelm Street and Weber Street West. Participants can gather at George Lippert Park. The finish line celebration includes a custom medal, pretzels, and hot chocolate.
