Deepdale Dash 10K — 2025 2026

The Deepdale Dash is Barton & District AC’s 10K road race held annually around Barton upon Humber in North Lincolnshire on the first Sunday in November. It is an undulating road race with partially closed roads, using Baysgarth School as its base. Runners begin in the school bus circle and conclude through the Oak Drive school entrance, establishing a clear school-site hub instead of a town-centre start. Entry is open to affiliated and unaffiliated runners aged 15 and over; the main field is capped at 550 places. The course suits runners seeking a solid 10K effort rather than a flat time-trial route. Finishers receive a medal, included with standard entry, and a race hoodie is available for purchase. A separate untimed fun run precedes the 10K, with a small on-the-day fee, offering every entrant a medal. This extends the event beyond just the main race. The results typically show a mixed local club field, with Barton & District AC, Hyde Park Harriers, Off That Couch Fitness, Winterton Running Club, Scunthorpe Harriers, East Hull Harriers, and Wolds Veteran RC frequently near the front.
