Nightrun Sandnes

Nightrun Sandnes is a 5 km night trail race in Sandnes, Norway, held in November with a 7:00 PM start. Participants depart from Gramstadtunet, equipped with headlamps, as the route is unlit. Reflectors guide the way through the darkness. The course begins on gravel, transitioning to approximately 3 km of more challenging terrain including stones, rough trail, marshland, and boardwalks. It then returns to gravel for a section before finishing on asphalt back at Gramstadtunet. November in Sandnes is typically cold and wet, making this a short race with trail conditions that can feel more demanding than the distance implies. Hoka and Ledlenser offer a limited number of trail shoes and headlamps for participants to test or borrow on race day.
