23. Nordholzer Windmühlenlauf 2026

Nordholzer Windmühlenlauf is a local running event held at Willi-Wicke-Sportplatz on Mühlenstraße in Wurster Nordseeküste. It is organized by the athletics department of TSG Nordholz u.Umg.v.1907. The event offers a range of distances, from a free 400 m Bambini race for very young children to a half marathon, with 2.6 km, 5 km, and 10 km races also available. The event accommodates walkers and hikers, not solely focusing on competitive racing. The road courses are officially measured. The 5 km race serves as the district championship for age groups within the Cuxhaven district. Adults may accompany children in the Bambini race, but their participation is not timed. Timing is managed with loaned transponders distributed with race materials. All runners receive a medal and certificate, while walkers and hikers are given a participant certificate. Facilities including changing rooms, showers, and toilets are located near the start and finish area, reflecting the event's straightforward, club-organized nature.
