Cros de Canet 2026

Cros de Canet de Mar is a cross-country running event in Canet de Mar, a town on the Barcelona coast in the Maresme area. The race takes place around the Can Misser industrial estate, near H2O Fitnes & Club Canet, making it a compact local cross course rather than a point-to-point road race. Recent listings show short non-competitive trail options of 3.7 km and 4.9 km, while federation events at the same meeting use age-group race distances. The event is organized by Canet de Mar town council with support from the Diputació de Barcelona, the Catalan athletics federation, the Maresme school sports council, Atletisme Sport Canet, and Gesport. The meeting has hosted Catalan championship racing, including the Catalan Master Cross Championship and the Catalan Short Cross Championship. When the master championship was held there, over 200 veteran athletes competed in individual, club, and mixed relay formats, with CA Vic winning the 45-50 mixed relay category. The programme can include absolute men’s and women’s races for sub-20, sub-23, senior, and master athletes, plus younger categories from sub-12 through sub-18. Championship entries require a valid federation license for the current season.
