Puig de Tiula is a mountain race based in Cubelles, a coastal town in Catalonia’s Garraf area. Runners start and finish in Cubelles, then head into the Puig de Tiula natural area for a trail race built around local paths, rougher tracks, and steady climbing. The event is aimed at experienced runners and trail-running fans, with participant numbers capped at 300 and a minimum age of 14.
The route runs through Cubelles and Cunit on paths and trails of the Garraf, with demanding elevation changes and open views over the surrounding hills and coast. The race started in 2011 with nearly 200 runners in its first edition, and it is organized by Activa't Cubelles together with the Cubelles and Cunit town councils. Activa't Cubelles is a local non-profit group that promotes physical, sporting, and cultural activity, which fits the race’s mix of competition, outdoor terrain, and a local atmosphere.
