À propos de cette course
The Semi-Marathon de la Métropole du Grand Nancy is a 21.1 km road race held in Nancy, located in France’s Grand Est region, typically taking place in March. Its most distinctive detail is the start and finish line at Place Stanislas, the city's main square, with the Hôtel de Ville serving as the location for bib pickup prior to the event. The race attracts close to 4,000 participants, offering a substantial field without the overwhelming numbers found in major city half marathons.
The course winds through Nancy and neighboring towns, combining urban streets with parkland sections within the metropolitan area. It is designed for a wide range of participants, from those running their first half marathon to seasoned athletes. Bib collection is scheduled for the Friday and Saturday preceding the race, with no distribution on race day itself. Having reached its late-teen editions, the event is a well-established local tradition.
