The Velencei Sunset Run begins at the Dragonfly strand on the shore of Velencei-tó. This is a sunset run beside the lake, designed as a fun run rather than a serious personal best attempt. The Hungarian phrase "relaxed, cheerful, in the sunset" captures its spirit.
The course runs entirely on road. Expect an atmosphere of summer-evening legs, fresh lake air, and a leisurely start as daylight fades.
