This Backyard Ultra in the Texas Hill Country is a Last Person Standing Challenge. The course uses a dual-course strategy. The Day Loop offers expansive views and technical engagement around the Colorado River, with winding single-track and open meadows. At dusk, shift to the Night Loop, built for tunnel vision with wider double-track paths, a moving meditation under headlamp. The transition between these loops is where the psychological wall often hits during the transition from dusk to dawn, making this a dynamic and strategically challenging test.
