Millersville Turkey Trot

The Millersville Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving 5K run/walk held at Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania. The start and finish are located at Pucillo Gym, near Biemesderfer Stadium. A Children's Fun Run is also available, making the event suitable for families and runners seeking a timed 5K. Over 2,500 participants are anticipated, a substantial field for a local holiday race. Waved starts are used to group participants by similar paces. The race is Lancaster's largest and longest-running Turkey Trot, with over fifty editions completed. Results are based on gun time, and the event offers live results and finish-line video. Overall male and female winners receive cash prizes, while top finishers in age groups receive non-cash awards. Awards are distributed on-site, keeping the post-race activities connected to the campus event.
