Sheriff's Benefit Fund Run 2026

The Sheriff's Benefit Fund Run is a Wichita running event held at Horseshoe Shelter, 6501 W 21st St. Participants can choose from a 10K, a 5K, or a 2 Mile run. The 10K and 5K begin at 9:00 a.m., followed 15 minutes later by the 2 Mile. This is the race's second year, and it benefits the Sheriff's Fund. The event is straightforward and community-focused: select your distance, arrive at the west Wichita park, and run to support the fund. Entry fees vary by distance: $40 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $30 for the 2 Mile, prior to a price increase. Runners get a race T-shirt, and registration is open until the morning of each event.
