Courir pour un Regard is a charity race day in Ouveillan, held at the Néotera cooperative winery. Taking place each October, it combines a team relay with walking events and a children’s race, ensuring the day appeals to more than just fast club runners. The main relay consists of teams of three, with each runner completing one 8 km loop. A 10 km Nordic walk, a leisure walk, and a children’s race are also offered.
The event is organized by Kiwanis Gruissan Terre d’Occitanie, supported by the Kiwanis of Narbonne. Its objective is straightforward: to raise funds for visually impaired children in the region. Proceeds will benefit the Federation of the Blind and Visually Impaired of France in Montpellier. The relay format fosters a strong team spirit, and the inclusion of athletes, casual runners, walkers, and children maintains a local and welcoming atmosphere.
