Nordic & cross des remparts - Neuf-Brisach 2026

Nordic & Cross des Remparts is an annual running and Nordic walking event in Neuf-Brisach, starting near the Porte de Belfort and using the town’s old rampart area as its race ground. The day begins at 9:30 AM and includes cross-country races plus Nordic walking options, with distances varying by age category. CSL Neuf-Brisach organizes the event, which features 15 races throughout the day. The course follows dirt paths within the ramparts, featuring small climbs and descents instead of a flat road. Runners complete different loops once or several times based on their category, and spiked shoes are permitted. The Nordic walking component is significant: the timed race is French Athletics Federation labeled, counts for the Marche Nordique Tour National, and serves as both the Grand Est and Haut-Rhin championship. A 9,650 m open Nordic walk is also offered, with approximately 130 walkers participating in this discipline, which organizers feel could benefit from increased attention.
