Randonnée du Vin Doux is a one-day autumn cycling randonnée held at Salle St Maurice in Gillonnay, a village in Isère, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Organized by Gillonnay Cyclo Club, it offers cyclists road routes of 60 km or 90 km. Some descriptions also mention it is open to runners and cyclists who wish to travel through the local vineyards.
The routes favor small, quiet roads around Gillonnay over busy main roads. The 60 km route includes approximately 764 m of climbing, and the 90 km route features about 1,211 m of climbing, presenting a significant challenge on the longer ride. Registration and starts are available from late morning through early afternoon, with the finish control closing in the evening. A local tradition concludes the event: participants receive sweet wine from Gillonnay vineyards and a plate of food, which lends the event its name.
