Kielder Marathon 2026

The Kielder Marathon is a full marathon held in Northumberland, encircling Kielder Water within Kielder Water & Forest Park. The course is almost entirely off-road, tracing the perimeter of northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, offering a distinct character compared to a city marathon. The marathon concludes the Kielder weekend events. The schedule also features a 10K, a Run Bike Run event, a half marathon, and junior races, allowing participants of various ages and distances to share the park setting before the marathon finishes the weekend.
