The Half Marathon Mazara is a 21.097 km road race held within Mazara del Vallo, on Sicily’s west coast. The entire route stays within the city limits. Runners begin at 9:30 AM from Lungomare Giuseppe Mazzini, at the Scalinata. GS Atletica Mazara organizes the race, with assistance from the municipality, FIDAL, and Running Sicilia.
The event attracts hundreds of participants from Sicily and other regions, positioning it as a significant regional fixture. It is also included in several competition calendars: the Provincial Grand Prix over 7 km, the Regional Master Individual Half Marathon Championship, the Mari e Monti regional circuit, Running Sicilia, BioRace, and the national FIDAL Bronze program.
