Maraton Leśny Kwidzyn is a forest running event in Kwidzyn, based in the Miłosna Dendrological Garden and organized by Nadleśnictwo Kwidzyn. The main program gives runners three choices: a half marathon, a full marathon, and a 63 km ultra, all built from the same 21 km loop. There is also a wider forest festival format with animal-named races such as the Marathon of the Moose, Rysia Half Marathon, Marmot March, and Fox 10k, which makes the day easy to understand even before you look at the route map.
The course uses XCM Miłosna singletracks and forest roads, so it is more of a trail race than a road race. One loop has about 650 m of climbing, which means the marathon doubles that work and the ultra repeats it three times. The route is marked, refreshment points are set roughly every 5-7 km, and places are capped, with smaller fields than a big city race. It is open to adult runners, uses chip timing built into the race number, and finishers get a medal and a post-race recovery meal.
