The Mazovia MTB Marathon is a Polish mountain bike marathon series for amateur riders, with stages held across Mazovia and other parts of Poland. The races use off-road routes, and the Piaseczno stage sends riders mainly along the forest tracks of Chojnowski Landscape Park. Entries are split by distance so beginners and stronger riders can line up at the same event: Piaseczno offers 8 km Hobby, 19 km Fit, 49 km Mega, and 76 km Giga options, while other stages have used longer sets such as 20 km, 60 km, and 90 km.
The riding is not just flat forest cruising: some courses are fast, with sharp climbs and descents, gravel roads, woodland paths, and short asphalt sections. Cezary Zamana, a Polish road champion and Tour de Pologne winner, created and organizes the series, which grew out of races run since 2005 and has drawn close to a thousand riders per stage. Local touches vary by stop: Piaseczno has offered free entry for residents who register in person, Brodnica starts near the beach on Lake Niskie Brodno, and some stages include children’s races with the Rybka MiniMini mascot.
