The 12Ks of Christmas is a 12K and relay race with a Christmas theme, held at the Pilot YMCA, beginning at 8 a.m. Participants can run individually, as a two-person relay, or as a three-person relay. This format accommodates both those seeking the full 12K distance and teams dividing the mileage.
The racecourse consists of 4K greenway loops originating and concluding at the YMCA. Solo runners cover three loops for the 12K distance. Two-person relay teams divide the race into 4K and 8K legs, while three-person teams each complete one loop. Individual awards are presented to age groups ranging from 10 and under to 70-plus. Relay awards recognize the top three teams in both the two- and three-person categories.
