Bacon Around the Bend 5K 2026

Bacon Around the Bend 5K is a downtown 5K focused on bacon rather than speed. It is a family fun run, not a timed race, with the event stating bacon is the true prize. Participants embark on a "piggy parade," with costumes encouraged and strollers welcome. Children three and under participate free, while older kids, teens, and adults register in separate price tiers that include race shirts and finish-line party access. The route features a bacon station at the halfway point, allowing participants to stop for bacon strips before continuing to the finish. Afterward, all are invited to bacon-themed snacks at Corby's Irish Pub, where adults over 21 also receive a drink ticket and can sample the signature Bacon Bloody Mary. The event supports Family Justice Center programs assisting victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and their families.
