Helena Sun Run 2026

The Helena Sun Run supports solar panel installation on public and nonprofit buildings in Helena. This yearly community fundraiser offers a timed 5K run/walk and a 1-mile option, which has previously featured a walk and bicycle parade. The start and finish locations have been local community sites, including Central School, Helena Food Share, and Smith Elementary School. Funds from previous races have aided solar projects at the Lewis and Clark Library, the Holter Museum of Art, and Carroll College, linking this local run to tangible clean-energy initiatives throughout the city.
