Littlefoot Triathlon - CDA

The Littlefoot Triathlon - CDA is a children's triathlon held in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, located at 2411 N Atlas Road near the Spokane River. This summer event offers two youth distances: a shorter triathlon for ages 6 to 11 and a longer triathlon for ages 12 and up. The short course includes a 100-meter swim, a 3K bike ride, and a 1K run. The long course consists of a 200-meter swim, a 4.5K bike ride, and a 2K run. The swim takes place in the Spokane River, designed with beginners in mind; participants can swim near the shore, touch the bottom if needed, and use flotation aids. The event aims to reintroduce a kids triathlon to the city, emphasizing participation in the sport for children rather than a competitive adult-style race.
