Tiergartenlauf Velen is a public running event in Velen, located in Germany’s Münsterland region, held on a Saturday in June. It features short school races, a relay, a 5 km race, a 10 km race, a half marathon, and a Nordic walking route. The event caters to children, club runners, casual runners, walkers, and families. The shortest pupil race covers 1.4 km, and another pupil race is 2.5 km. The 10 km race consists of two 5 km laps, and the half marathon also uses a two-lap format.
